CIC Attended IFSWF's 11th Annual Meeting16-09-2019
From September 10 to 13, 2019, the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF) held its 11th annual meeting in Juneau, Alaska, hosted by Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation (APFC). Present at the annual meeting were members of IFSWF and representatives from multilateral organizations such as IMF and World Bank, investors and fund managers, as well as research institutions.
At the meeting, members discussed the 2030 development visions for sovereign wealth funds. Participants had deep discussions on topics including technological innovation, investment coordination mechanisms, arctic development, and geopolitical cooperation. US Deputy Secretary of the Treasury, Governor of Alaska, and Governor of Wyoming delivered keynote speeches.
Mr. Tu Guangshao, former President of CIC, attended the meeting as Board Member of IFSWF and talked about experience on multilateral and bilateral investment cooperation mechanisms as invited.
